“Where our Nation remembers”

National memorial arboretum

“The National Memorial Arboretum is the UK’s year-round centre of Remembrance; a spiritually uplifting place which honours the fallen, recognises service and sacrifice, and fosters pride in our country. It is a living and lasting memorial.”- http://www.thenma.org.uk/

The national memorial arboretum is a large, well-groomed memorial site that calls itself the place “where our nation remembers”.  This blog post will show our reaction to the site and how our opinions of the way war is remembered here may be different to that of the people who created the Arboretum.
